The Netherlands Journal of Critical Care (Neth. J. Crit. Care) respects the intellectual property rights of authors and other content creators. This Copyright Policy establishes the rights and responsibilities of authors, readers, and the journal regarding the use, reproduction, distribution, and protection of published content.

Copyright Ownership

Authors retain copyright in their original work unless otherwise agreed in writing with the journal. By submitting a manuscript, authors confirm that they have the necessary rights to submit and publish the work and that the manuscript does not infringe upon the copyright, intellectual property, or other rights of any third party.

Author Rights

Authors retain the right to use their published work for legitimate scholarly and academic purposes, subject to the applicable licensing terms. Authors may share and disseminate their work in accordance with the journal's content licensing provisions and any applicable institutional or funder requirements.

Originality and Third-Party Material

Authors are responsible for ensuring that all submitted material is original or appropriately attributed and licensed. Any figures, tables, photographs, illustrations, substantial quotations, or other third-party material must be used with appropriate permission where required and must include proper acknowledgment.

The journal is not responsible for copyright infringement resulting from material supplied by authors.

Copyright Infringement
